Sales Director Job Description

Influenzer is a Social Media Marketing Startup. We are a community of Influencers who leverage the power of social media. We currently have over 1,500 members and estimate to have 5,000 members by end of May. We’ve a unique social media marketing strategy which is new to India and has been widely used in USA and UK.

We are looking for a talented, experienced IT Sales executive. Someone who is familiar working with FMCG clients would be ideal.

Roles and responsibilities:


  • Be able to create more and better leads: Recognize buying signals in real time, research your prospects across multiple social networks, and turn cold calls into warm calls.

  • Create shorter sales cycle: Connect with customers at the critical moments of their decision making process, and move deals through your pipeline.

  • Take a lead in the sales process and manage a team of 2 - 3 Sales Executives.



  • Cold calling prospective clients to generate appointments.

  • Attending client visits to establish their needs and to tailor an appropriate Social Media marketing package.

  • Following up on leads and incoming sales enquiries.

  • Closing sales and working towards weekly and monthly targets.

  • Creating Case studies and data reports for each client.

  • Providing daily and weekly sales figures to management.

  • Ensuring the completion of relevant sales paperwork.

Skills required:

  • 7 + Years of experience working in IT sales/advertising sales, and FMCG clients would be ideal.

  • A track record of exceeding challenging sales targets.

  • Excellent telephone and face to face communication skills.

  • Excellent presentation and IT skills and up to date with the latest Social Media trends.

  • A passion for sales with a target driven mentality and the desire to achieve high personal earnings.
